My primary responsibility was to lead the design systems integration using design tokens. This approach ensured scalability and maintained brand uniqueness within the shared framework. I focused on adapting the design system to reflect Tommy Hilfiger's distinct brand identity while preserving the underlying structure established for Calvin Klein.
My focus was not only on scalability but also on intensive collaboration. I opened over 400 JIRA tickets to meticulously capture functional and visual discrepancies from the initial designs, ensuring nothing was lost in translation between teams. This task demanded close coordination with stakeholders, developers, product managers, and other designers to align every aspect of the project.
In addition to hands-on project management, I authored comprehensive documentation spanning over 40 pages. This documentation served as a cornerstone for the project, detailing every nuance of the design system and guiding the team through the complexities of cross-brand integration. My role in this phase was crucial in bridging gaps between various disciplines, thereby ensuring a cohesive and efficient workflow.
